Category Educational Qualification Agniveer (General Duty) Class 10th /Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate of five basic subjects and min 33% marks in each subjects.
Indian Gorkhas – Class 10th simple pass.Agniveer (Technical) 10+2/Intermediate Exam passed in Science with Physics, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Maths & English from any recognized State Education Board or Central Education Board to include NIOS and ITI course of one year in any field with NSQF level 4 or above.
OR
Passed two years vocational course with non-vocational subjects viz Physics and Mathematics from Education Board recognized by Central/State/UT Government with 50% marks in aggregate.Agniveer (Clerk / Store Keeper Technical) 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class XII is mandatory.
