SSC CPO Exam Notification 2026 Eligibility

Age Criteria to Apply

Interested Candidates should be between 18 to 25 years as on 1st August 2026 for all posts except SI (FIRE) in CISF for which the age should be 20 to 25 years. Age relaxation will be given as per Govt. rules in the below-mentioned manner-

• 5 Years for SC/ST Applicants
• 3 Years for OBC Applicants
• 3 years for Ex-servicemen after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date.

Educational Qualification

Note: Male candidates applying for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests
For Sub Inspector (Fire) in CISF	Bachelor’s degree in science with physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of a recognized University or equivalent; OR Matriculation or equivalent and three years diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Automobiles, Chemical, Mining, Aeronautical, Telecommunication Engineering OR equivalent examination passed from a recognized University or Board or Institutions.

Note: Candidates who have not yet acquired but will acquire the educational qualification and produce documentary evidence from the Board/ University in support thereof as on the closing date for receipt of online applications will also be eligible.
