Uttar Pradesh TET 2026: Eligibility Criteria
The Uttar Pradesh TET is conducted for two papers – Paper I & Paper II. The Paper I is conducted for the candidates those who will be hired to teacher Class 1 to 5. Similarly, Paper – II is conducted for the candidates to teach Class 6 to 8. Eligibility conditions according to the papers are as follows –

| For Paper – I (Class 1 to 5) | Applicants who have completed Teacher Education Courses (D.Ed /D.E.Ed)) should have an intermediate certificate from an institute approved by NCTE or RCI or the Language Pandit Training Course. |
| For Paper – II (Class 6 to 8) | Applicants need to possess Graduation Degree from an approved institute with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) certificate or equivalent. |
